Mesa Uranium Warrants Commence Trading April 24, 2006

 VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Mesa Uranium Corp. (TSX.V:MZU) ("Mesa") is pleased to announce that 5,919,000 warrants ("Warrants") of Mesa commenced trading on the TSX Venture Exchange effective at the opening of market on April 24, 2006. The trading symbol for the warrants is MZU.WT.

Holders of the Warrants will receive a transmittal letter advising them to surrender their old warrant certificate for a new certificate (which will bear a CUSIP number) to Mesa's warrant agent, Computershare Trust Company of Canada, 3rd Floor, 510 Burrard Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, V6C 3B9.

(TSX-V: MZU) is a dynamic publicly traded Canadian exploration company focused on exploring for uranium on the 100% owned Lisbon Valley Project in the historic Lisbon Valley Mining District in Southeastern Utah. The Lisbon Valley Mining District is located in the Colorado Plateau region, 30 miles south of Moab in San Juan County, Utah.
