Mesa Exploration Corp. (TSX-V: MSA US: MSAJF) is a mineral exploration company exploring a portfolio of metal properties in the western United States.

Critical criteria for success: all of Mesa's projects are within proven and historic mining districts in mine-friendly jurisdictions with first world access and infrastructure.

Bounty Potash Project
The Bounty potash project is located in the Great Salt Lake Desert of western Utah and contains a shallow potash brine aquifer. Several potash brine mines in the area are operating on similar lake remnants, producing muriate of potassium (MOP) and sulphate of potassium (SOP), at operating costs of $180 per ton. MOP sells for $500 per ton and SOP for $650 per ton.

Surface Potash Brine Operations Key Features:
Low capital expenditure
Low operating costs
Inexpensive to explore
Simple milling process

Surface Potash Brine Operations Feature:
No hard rock to drill, blast, transport or grind
No mining staff, only mill staff and seasonal personnel
No fleet of haul trucks, loaders or blasting rigs
No shafts, open pits, underground workings or waste dumps
No crushing circuits, explosives or ventilation systems

Exploiting these deposits is as simple as it gets in the mining industry.

After construction the only moving parts are pumps, seasonal harvesting and a simple mill!

Green Energy Project, Utah
The Green Energy project hosts a brine deposit containing 40% minerals, including lithium, potash, magnesium, boron and bromine.

Eastern Utah Potash Projects
Mesa's three potash projects are within the Paradox Basin of eastern Utah, estimated by the U.S. Geological Survey to contain 2 billion tons of potash.
The White Cloud project is adjacent to a potash mine producing 80,000 tons of potash annually. The potash beds being mined at the mine underlie the White Cloud project, as do seven other potash units.
  • White Cloud 35,510 acres (55 square miles)

  • Salt Wash 21,184 acres (33 square miles)

  • Whipsaw 17,968 acres (28 square miles)

Lisbon Valley Uranium Project, Utah
The Lisbon Valley Project is located in the Lisbon Valley Mining District, Utah, with past production of over 85 million pounds of U3O8.

Moonshine Springs Uranium Project, Arizona
The project is located in the northwest corner of Arizona in Mohave County, Arizona. The project is adjacent to a four million pound uranium (U3O8) deposit owned by Denison Mines.
