| ![]() Mesa Uranium Corp. (TSX-V: MSA) (US: MSAJF) is exploring a portfolio of premier lithium, uranium and potash properties in the United States. All projects are within proven mining districts with excellent access and infrastructure. Shares Issued and Outstanding: 10,945,376 Green Energy Lithium Project - Utah (click here) Lithium occurs at the project over an extensive area in mineral-rich brine containing 40% dissolved solids. Lithium values as high as 1,700 ppm lithium (0.9% Li2CO3) have been sampled in historic oil exploration wells. The brine also grades as high as 8% potash, 19% magnesium chloride, 13% salt, 6,100 ppm bromine and 1,260 ppm boron. Brines account for the majority of the world's lithium supply and are less expensive to operate than conventional hard rock mines, with less CAPEX than conventional open-pit or underground mines. A 2010 work program is being developed to obtain modern brine samples for chemical analysis and baseline/preliminary metallurgical testing for mineral extraction. Engineering characteristics of the host formation will also be tested to establish pressure, temperature, artesian characteristics, precipitation characteristics, drawdown, and potential size of the aquifer. Preliminary economic evaluation is on-going. Lisbon Valley Uranium Project - Utah Mesa controls a dominant land position in the Lisbon Valley Mining District with historic production of 100 million pounds of U3O8. Mesa has drilled a new uranium zone grading 0.11% U3O8 over a thickness of 17 feet, further drilling is planned on this and other targets in the District. Moonshine Springs Uranium Project - Arizona Mesa has drilled significant U3O8 mineralization on the project: 7.5 feet grading 0.21% U3O8 and 4 feet grading 0.47% U3O8. Drilling is planned for 2010 to follow-up on this mineralization. Recent radon soil sampling has defined several additional uranium targets. Holbrook Potash Project - Arizona The project is within the Holbrook Basin, a 600 square mile evaporite province estimated to contain 2.27 billion metric tons of potash. A historic core hole on the project intercepted 13.7% potash over a thickness of 9.5 feet. Potash Projects - Utah Three projects totaling 116 square miles of exploration permit applications with the Bureau of Land Management. The White Cloud project is two miles north of Intrepid Potash's Cane Creek mine which produces 80,000 tons of potash annually, these potash beds also occur on the White Cloud project.
